Man week 13, you really sucked. Kaepernik and Barkley played in brutal weather in a game that had a combined 33 pass attempts. Luckily week 13 was a bad week for QBs overall so starting either of these guys likely didn’t completely kill you. Fiedorwicz was serviceable but Josh Hill broke his fibula early in the game and will miss the remainder of the season. Baltimore came through for DSTs while the Chargers disappointed. Let’s see if we can do better in week 14.
Trevor Siemian, DEN
Siemian missed week 13 with a foot injury but early reports are that the team hopes to have him back in week 14. In his last 3 games he’s posted fantasy weeks of 16.32, 16.82 and 29.02. Now he gets a Tennessee pass defense ranked 26th in DVOA and giving up the 6th most fantasy points to QBs (21.33). At only 10% owned he makes a good play for those in need of a QB.
Brock Osweiler, HOU
Osweiler is a tough name to see in your lineup but he’s scored at least 14 points since the bye and gets the terrible Indianapolis defense. The Colts rank 30th in DVOA and have given up the second most fantasy points to QBs (23.82). Osweiler may not have a huge ceiling but in a plus matchup he makes for a good play.
C.J. Fiedorowicz, HOU
I’m putting him on here as a streamer again as he’s still only 40% owned on Yahoo. Coming off a 9 target game against Green Bay he gets one of the weeks best matchups against the Colts. The colts have given up the 7th most fantasy points to the position. With Osweiler expected to have a good game (by his standards) Fiedorowicz seems likely to benefit.
Lance Kendricks, LA
In the last 3 weeks Kendricks has seen 7, 7, and 5 targets. The matchup against the Falcons is great as they’ve given up the 5th most fantasy points to tight ends and 7 touchdowns to the position. Like most tight ends he has a low floor but has a chance for a TD in week 14.
Detroit v Chicago
Detroit has been on fire lately posting fantasy points of 19, 6 and 11 since their week 10 bye. In week 14 they are 9.5 point favorites at home. Their opponent, the Bears, are allowing almost 10 points a game to DSTs. The Lions look like a safe streaming pick in week 14.
Cincinnati @ Cleveland
Talk of RG3 playing shouldn’t scare you away from this matchup. For his career he’s thrown 24 interceptions and been sacked 104 times in 38 games. That’s 0.6 INT’s and 2.73 sacks per game. In his one start in 2016 he had 1 INT, 1 FUM and was sacked 3 times. Stream against RG3 (or McCown) with confidence.
